New buffet and wine dinners at Marie's
In its decade at the corner of Beneva and Clark roads, Marie’s Italian Kitchen has amassed a wall full of Readers’ Choice awards, of "Best of..." awards and commendations that have designated it as one of the area’s favorite moderately priced Italian-American restaurants.
Owner/chef Bill Wells, a seasoned restaurateur with many decades of expertise, knows that constant innovation is an important element for continued growth.
Bill and Marie Wells, officially recognized by the borough of Brooklyn, NY, as purveyors and ambassadors of "New York-style Italian food," have expanded on their in-house dining to create an extensive catering and special event planning business, as well as a liquor catering service with bartenders.
They began Online Take-Out last year, and now have added a two new features: the Thursday buffet and monthly Wednesday wine dinners.

Marie Wells is pleased to be able to display numerous awards her restaurant has won through the years.
The all-you-can-eat buffet from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. offers a choice of 12 of the menu’s most popular entrees: lasagne, Mom’s meatballs, sausage and peppers, Florida snapper piccata, baked ziti, linguine with clam sauce, fusilli Puttanesca, mussels marinara, eggplant or chicken Parmigiana, chicken Roman style, and veal and spinach cannelloni.
The buffet also includes soup or salad for $12.95.
The next Wine Wednesday on July 15, for example, is a visit to London and the British Isles. Such traditional English favorites as beef Wellington, Scotch Collops, Finnan Haddie and Melton Mowbray Pork Pie will be featured along with some of the restaurant’s favorite fish, chicken and pasta items.

The seatings at 5 and 7 p.m. are $18.95 and include a full-course dinner with antipasto, entree, dessert and a tasting of three different wines. Reservations are suggested for these special events.
The restaurant, of course, will continue to serve lunch, and its popular early bird menu from 4:30 to 6 p.m., with more than two dozen entrees priced at $7.95-$9.95.
The regular dinner menu expands those options to include a selection of veal entrees such as the Roman specialty saltimbocca ($16.95), and Florida seafood specials, such as Florida snapper Livornese or Florentine ($13.50).
Daily specials supplement the offerings, and Marie’s special vacuum system means that more than 50 wine selections are available by the glass.
